Just made a cast iron’d ribeye with Apple radish vinaigrette sliced as an appetizer. Liked it more than I thought

Between a great steak and sex, I'm at the point in my life where the steak makes a compelling case.

None of that cooked stuff. Meat needs to be red.

Dude...I made a cast iron sirloin. Fantastic with garlic butter.
Oh. I'm drooling again.

That’s the color it’s SUPPOSED to be. If it’s brown on the inside, you done fucked it up.

In fact studies have shown that giving your date the one increases your chance of getting the other, statistically speaking.

Red, like the blood of those who you’ve conquered. How real steaks should always be.

I honestly want to just eat that with my hands while nobody is looking. Eat it just like a succulent piece of deliciousness. Then wash it down with some Bordeaux.

So, all that extra sex will yield extra steak? I'll have to try that out for myself.

I should’ve taken a pic last night as I grilled up a 22oz ribeye. I tried a new-to-me approach; I cooked the edges (and mighty edges they were at nearly 2" thick) in a skillet at medium heat just enough to get a little bit of brown going, then transferred it to the grill at 250°. 20 minutes one side, flip, 20 minutes. It came out so abso-fucking-LUTELY perfectly rare.
